Networking Playbook, Phase 1

Networking Playbook

Phase 1: First-degree network activation

What is this?

This is our guide for the first 30 days of personal outreach. The goal is simple: turn the people we already know into our first pipeline.

No cold emails to strangers, no ad spend, no growth hacks. Just real conversations with real people in our networks.

This is not about being salesy. It's about letting people know what we're building and making it easy for them to spread the word.

Where to focus your energy

Ranked by what actually converts for early-stage B2B

1

WhatsApp voice notes to warm contacts

Highest trust, highest response rate

2

LinkedIn DMs with personal context

Best for tech/business decision-makers

3

Re-activation messages to dormant contacts

People you haven't talked to in 6+ months

4

Instagram DMs to tech connections

Good for younger network, founders

5

WhatsApp status + Instagram stories

Low effort broadcast, decent reach

6

Industry WhatsApp/Telegram groups

One intro post, then add value by participating

The order matters

Personal network > first 3-5 clients > case studies > systematic outbound > paid acquisition. We're at step one. Don't skip ahead.

The temptation to run ads or buy tools will come up, but none of that works until we have proof that real people will pay for what we build. That proof comes from conversations, not campaigns.

The viral loop: Every message you send should (1) explain what IntelEchoAI does, (2) include the flyer and/or deck, and (3) explicitly ask the person to forward the message and images to anyone who might benefit. One person sharing with three people is how this compounds.

Day 1 Setup

Do all of this before you send a single message

Prep Checklist

0/8
Go through your WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Instagram contacts. Rough list: who's a prospect or knows prospects? Who's a network multiplier? Who's personal support?
Download the latest company deck PDF and save it where you can share it quickly
Save the branded flyer image (vertical for WhatsApp/Instagram status, horizontal for LinkedIn). This is what you'll ask people to share.
Open intelechoai.com on your phone, make sure it loads properly
Record a practice voice note using the script in the Messages section. Listen to it. Re-record until it sounds natural, not scripted.
Create your tracking sheet (use the shared Google Sheet). Columns: Name, Channel, Date, Response, Follow-up Date, Notes
Block 45 minutes to 1 hour daily for outreach. Morning is best, before product work pulls you in.
Read through ALL the message templates below and customize them in your own voice before Day 1

How to categorize your contacts

Prospects
Business owners, decision-makers, people in industries we serve. They or their company might actually need our help.
Multipliers
People with big networks who would spread the word. The friend who knows everyone, the cousin connected in business circles.
Supporters
Close friends, family. They won't buy, but they'll put your flyer on their story, forward your message, and vouch for you.
Don't skip the voice note practice. A natural voice note converts 3-5x better than text, but a scripted-sounding one is worse than text. Record, listen, re-record.

Message Templates

When: Someone who might need AI services, or knows someone who does.

Hey [Name], hope you're doing well. Quick update: I've been building IntelEchoAI, an AI engineering company. We help businesses build and run production AI systems. Here's what we cover: - AI agents and smart assistants - Workflow automation (turning manual processes into automated ones) - On-prem AI deployments (data stays inside the client's infrastructure) - Computer vision and edge AI (cameras, sensors, factory equipment) - Data engineering and cloud infrastructure We're working across India, UAE, and Europe. Sharing our deck, a quick overview flyer, and the website below. If this sounds relevant to you or anyone in your network, I'd love a quick intro. And if you could forward this message and the flyer to anyone you think might benefit, that would mean a lot. Even one share helps a ton at this stage. [Attach: flyer image + deck + intelechoai.com]
💡Swap in specific products based on their industry: ArbiterAI for AEC/tenders, ARIVON for manufacturing vision, EchoSync for e-commerce
💡The forward ask is the most important part. Make sure it stays in your customized version.

When: They probably don't need our services directly, but they know people.

Hey [Name], hope you're well! Quick thing: we've started an AI company called IntelEchoAI. We help businesses work smarter using AI. Things like: - Smart assistants that handle repetitive tasks automatically - Systems that automate paperwork and manual processes - AI on cameras and sensors (for factories, warehouses, security) - Private AI that runs inside a company's own servers, so data stays safe We work with businesses in manufacturing, healthcare, education, retail, construction, real estate, and more. Big ask: if you know anyone who runs a business, any business at all, could you forward this message and the attached flyer to them? Even just one or two people. That's the kind of help that makes a real difference right now. Sharing the flyer and website below. Thanks! [Attach: flyer image + intelechoai.com]
💡Don't explain the tech. Keep it simple. "Smart assistants" and "automate paperwork" are way clearer than "multi-agent orchestration."
💡The concrete ask "forward this message and the flyer" is easier to act on than "let me know if someone needs AI."

When: Close friend, family, someone who genuinely supports you.

Hey [Name], quick favor. Could you put this image on your WhatsApp status for a day? Sending it here so you can save and post directly. [Attach: flyer image] For the caption, something simple works: "A friend of mine is building this AI company. Check it out: intelechoai.com" If anyone asks about it, just tell them to DM me and I'll take it from there. Thanks!
💡Send the actual flyer image right after this message. Don't make them go find something to post.
💡Give them the exact caption text so they can just copy-paste it. Removes friction.
💡Don't ask people who clearly won't be comfortable doing this. Read the relationship.

When: Anyone you think would respond better to hearing your voice. Converts way better than text.

[Record naturally. Don't read word for word.] "Hey [Name], hope you're doing good. Quick voice note because it's easier than typing. So I've been building an AI company called IntelEchoAI. We help businesses build production AI systems. Things like AI agents, workflow automation, computer vision, on-prem deployments where data stays private. Working across India, UAE, and Europe. I'm in early customer mode and could use your help. If you know any business owner in any industry who might be curious about AI, even just an intro would be huge. I'll send the deck and a flyer in the next message. And if you could forward those to anyone who comes to mind, that would mean the world. Thanks!" [Then send the flyer image, deck, and link as the next message]
💡This should take 25-35 seconds spoken naturally. If it's longer, cut filler words.
💡Speak like you're leaving a voice note for a friend, not presenting. If you'd normally speak Tamil or Hindi with this person, do that.
💡Record, listen, re-record. First take is never the best.

When: You messaged them once and they haven't responded.

Hey [Name], no worries if you've been busy. Just circling back on IntelEchoAI. Even if it's not relevant for you directly, would mean a lot if you could forward the flyer and message to anyone you know who runs a business. Thanks either way!
💡This is your ONE follow-up. If they don't respond after this, leave it. No third message.
💡Don't guilt-trip. Don't add "I know you're busy but..." That reads as passive-aggressive even when you don't mean it.

When: Found someone who fits our profile. Business owner, decision-maker, founder.

Hey [Name], saw your post about [specific thing they shared]. Really solid. We're working on something similar in [their space]. Would love to share what we're building if you're open to it.
💡First message is NOT a pitch. It's a warm opening. Reference something specific from their content.
💡If they respond positively, THEN send: "We run IntelEchoAI. We build production AI for businesses: agents, automation, vision, on-prem deployments. Here's a flyer and deck. If anyone in your circle might benefit, feel free to forward."

When: Someone you know who works in tech and would understand what we do.

Hey [Name], hope you're well. We've launched IntelEchoAI (intelechoai.com). Building production AI systems for businesses: - AI agents and multi-agent orchestration - Workflow automation - On-prem LLM deployments - Edge AI and computer vision - Data engineering and cloud infra Got products in different stages, some live, some in beta, a couple in R&D. Working across India, UAE, and Europe. Sharing the flyer and deck here. Would love honest feedback. And if anyone in your network might benefit, forwarding the flyer or this message would help a lot. [Attach: flyer + deck]
💡Tech people appreciate directness. You can be more specific about the stack and products here.
💡"Honest feedback" gives them permission to engage without committing to anything.

When: Personal contact who isn't in tech but would help if asked.

Hey [Name], hope you're doing well! We've started IntelEchoAI, an AI company that helps businesses automate their work, use smart assistants, run AI on cameras and sensors, and more. Sharing a flyer and the website (intelechoai.com) so you can see what it's about. If you know any business owners who might be curious about AI, could you forward this message and the flyer to them? Even just sharing with one or two people would help a lot. Thanks! [Attach: flyer image]

When: Close connection. You want them to post the flyer on their story.

Hey [Name], quick ask. Could you share this image on your Instagram story? Sending it right after this message so you can save and post it. For the caption, something like: "A friend of mine is building this AI company. Check it out: intelechoai.com" Or even simpler, just add a link sticker to intelechoai.com. Appreciate it! [Send the flyer image right after this message]
💡Send the flyer image immediately after this message. Don't make them go find something.
💡Giving them the exact caption removes the "what do I even write" friction.

When: Someone already in your LinkedIn network, in business or tech.

Hi [Name], hope you're well. Wanted to share what I've been building: IntelEchoAI (intelechoai.com). We help businesses build and run production AI systems: - AI agents and workflow automation - On-prem AI deployments (data never leaves the client's infra) - Computer vision and edge AI - Data engineering and cloud infrastructure We're live across India, UAE, and Europe. If anyone in your network is exploring AI for their business, I'd love an intro. And if you could share the attached overview with anyone who comes to mind, that would be a big help. Dropping our flyer and deck here. Thanks! [Attach: flyer + deck]

When: Someone you don't know yet but want to connect with.

Hi [Name], I build production AI systems for [their industry] at IntelEchoAI. Saw your work at [their company]. Would love to connect.
💡Under 300 characters. No pitch in the connection request. Pitch comes AFTER they accept.
💡Personal voice: "I build" not "We are IntelEchoAI, a company that..."

When: They accepted your connection request. Now you follow up.

Thanks for connecting, [Name]. Quick context: I work on AI systems for [their industry] at IntelEchoAI. We cover AI agents, workflow automation, on-prem deployments, computer vision, and cloud infrastructure. Recently shipped [mention your most relevant product/project]. Thought it might be relevant given your role at [their company]. Happy to share our overview deck if you're curious. And if you know anyone in your network exploring AI for their business, I'd appreciate an intro or even just forwarding the flyer. [Attach: flyer image]
💡"Happy to share if you're curious" lets them opt in. Don't dump the full deck without asking.
💡Reference something specific about their company or role. Generic messages get ignored.

When: Someone you haven't talked to in 6+ months. Ex-colleagues, college friends.

MESSAGE 1 (just reconnect, no pitch): "Hey [Name], been a while! How's [something specific: their job, a move they made, their family]?" MESSAGE 2 (only after they respond): "Good to hear! On my end, I started a company called IntelEchoAI. We build AI systems for businesses: agents, automation, computer vision, on-prem deployments, the works. Working across India, UAE, and Europe. Sharing a flyer and the website below. If it's relevant to you or anyone you know, I'd love a chat. And if you could forward the flyer to anyone who runs a business, that would be a big help. Good to be back in touch either way." [Attach: flyer + intelechoai.com]
💡Message 1 has zero mention of IntelEchoAI. It's a genuine reconnection.
💡Only send Message 2 AFTER they reply. If they don't reply to Message 1, do not pitch.

When: Alumni or class WhatsApp groups. Post ONCE.

Hey everyone, quick share. I've been building an AI company called IntelEchoAI. We help businesses with AI agents, workflow automation, computer vision, on-prem AI deployments, and more. If you're curious or know someone who might benefit, DM me. Sharing a flyer below. Feel free to forward it to anyone who runs a business. Otherwise, no spam from my side, promise. [Attach: flyer image]
💡Post once. Do not repost. After posting, keep participating in the group normally.
💡If someone asks about it in the group, answer briefly and take the conversation to DM.

When: Industry-specific groups (AEC, healthcare, education, real estate).

Hi everyone, I'm [Name]. We build AI systems for [their industry] at IntelEchoAI: agents, automation, computer vision, on-prem deployments. Happy to answer questions about AI in [industry]. Not here to sell, just here to learn and share. DM me if you want to chat about anything specific.
💡Position yourself as a resource, not a vendor. Don't post in these groups more than once a week.
💡The goal is to be the "AI person" people think of when they have a question.
Product names: Swap in our actual product names based on the conversation. ArbiterAI for AEC/tenders, ARIVON for manufacturing vision, EchoSync for e-commerce. Don't mention products we haven't built or can't demo yet.

When to do it

Block a fixed slot every day. Morning works best: you get it done before product work pulls you in, and messages land when people are checking their phones.

If morning doesn't work, post-lunch (2-3pm) is the second best window.

The biggest risk isn't doing this badly. It's starting strong for 5 days and then dropping off. Consistency at 15 touches beats intensity at 40 followed by a week of nothing.

Rules

The stuff that separates networking from spamming

Quality rules

Every message references something specific about the person

If you could copy-paste it to 50 people without changing a word, it's spam.

Every message includes the IntelEchoAI brief and services

What we do, the flyer/deck, and the ask to forward. This is the viral loop.

One follow-up maximum

If they don't respond after one follow-up, leave it. Some people come back weeks later.

No pitching in the first message to cold contacts

First message is a warm acknowledgment. Pitch comes in message 2 or 3, only if they engage.

Always offer an easy out

"No pressure," "no urgency," "happy to share if you're curious." Makes it easier to say yes AND to say no.

Match the channel to the relationship

Don't send a formal LinkedIn message to a college friend. Don't send a casual voice note to a CXO you've never spoken to.

Respond within 4 hours when someone engages

A warm lead going cold because you took 3 days to reply is on you.

Log every interaction in the tracker

If it's not tracked, it didn't happen. You'll forget who you contacted and when to follow up.

Red lines

Mass broadcasting the same message to 50+ contacts
Adding people to WhatsApp groups without their permission
Pitching in DMs to people who didn't engage with your first message
Posting in industry groups more than once a week
Using follower-buying services or DM automation tools
Sending the same message to multiple people in the same group (they compare notes)
Promising capabilities or timelines the product can't deliver

Weekly Review

4

Layer on content marketing (now your posts have proof points)

5

Move from personal outreach to systematic outbound once you have 1-2 paying clients
